INTESOL Journal

The INTESOL Journal is a professional publication dedicated to advancing the field of language teaching and learning. Our primary purpose is to bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing a platform for rigorous research and insightful conceptual frameworks that offer clear implications and applications for the profession.

We are specifically interested in manuscripts that address critical areas such as curriculum design, instructional methods, and testing. While the journal engages with broad scholarly conversations, it places a special emphasis on work that is relevant to the Indiana and Midwest regions.

The journal serves a broad, cross-disciplinary community of professionals and scholars. Our target audience includes those working within and across the following fields:

INTESOL Journal accepts original empirical research, theoretical, and practitioner pieces throughout the year. Publication generally occurs at the date of the annual conference, though special issues may be published at other times.
